There’s just over a hectare in Montmains, all on the upper slope and facing southeast. It’s the neighbouring parcel to the domaine’s La Forêt, and the vines were planted between 1968 and 1974. Up until 2006, the vines from both parcels were vinified together, as they are once again in the low yielding 2021 vintage. This is one of Bessin-Tremblay’s few wines to be vinified entirely in old oak barrels.
