Natural cork. Leroux’s two barrels of Chambertin were drawn from a parcel of old, biodynamically farmed vines in the heart of the vineyard. The 2021 was vinified with 80% whole bunches. Australia’s allocation is limited to six magnums. The less we say, the better!

Reviews

“Two barrels, both one year old. 80% whole bunch vinification. The wine kicks off with an extraordinary bouquet, among the highest class of any I have tasted this year. A little bit more fine boned on the palate, not quite the intensity, but beautiful finesse. Really finely crafted without being huge. A five star bouquet though I have restricted this excellent Chambertin to 4 stars overall.”
96-98 points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
“This is impeccably balanced between the elegant acidic lift and the gravelly tannins surrounding the moderately weighty body. Bing cherries tease on the nose and are joined on the palate by mushroom and fresh earth aromas. This is all old vine fruit.”
95 points, Christy Canterbury MW, Tim Atkin Burgundy Report 2021
