Les Noirots lies in the northern sector of Chambolle, flanked by Les Baudes to the north and Les Gruenchers to the south. Ghislaine owns such a tiny parcel of this cru—0.15 hectares—that was formerly blended into her village Chambolle-Musigny. However, she began bottling it separately in 2017. We are delighted to offer five vintages of this wine in a single hit! The domaine has been cellaring the wine to follow its potential and, satisfied it belongs in the portfolio, they have released all the vintages this year. Les Noirots offers a firmness of structure akin to Barthod’s Beaux-Bruns, perhaps with more spice and robust, darker fruit.
