Stéphane Aladame farms just half a hectare on this east-facing site. The domaine's vines fall in the Montagny-les-Buxy section of the terroir, on a deep marl and blue clay soil at 290 meters altitude. Aladame uses two parcels (the elder planted in 1985) supplemented by a ration of Chardonnay Muscaté (an old variety of Chardonnay that Benjamin Leroux also works with in the Meursault Narvaux terroir). This wine was fermented and raised for 10 months entirely in neutral 350-litre oak barrels.
