Base 2017. Disgorged January 2024. Acquired in 2001, Le Bout du Clos is the most gently sloped of Selosse’s lieux-dits and contains the most clay. This soil composition contributes to creating a wine that is richer and more powerful than the other lieu-dit wines. The blend is 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay for this bottling. This is always a deep, fleshy, intense, red-fruited Champagne.
