At last, we have a small allocation of this rare Aligoté. This is drawn from a single plot of vines planted in 1976, in a terroir known as Les Plançons in Meursault. The grapes were harvested in mid-September (late for 2020) and were then aged half in wood and half in tank for twelve months. It was then blended and rested for a further five months in tank prior to being bottled unfined and unfiltered. It’s a superb Aligoté; deep, yet juicy and vibrantly fresh. Don’t hesitate!
