Meadowbank’s Riesling vines (mostly Geisenheim 198 clone) are spread across two sites, one planted in 1974 and the other in 2005. This juicy and spine-tingling Riesling was hand-picked from these sandy, north-facing slopes, whole-cluster pressed and naturally fermented (50% in stainless steel for freshness, and 50% wild-fermented in old French barriques for texture). Both parcels were matured on their lees for three months before blending and bottling without fining. Dredge describes 2021 was an interesting vintage, characterised by very light yields but with excellent flavour intensity. Bottled without fining.
