This is also Eugenio's lovingly grown fruit from Vino Italia. This Grenache is sourced from older bush vines planted by the Valenti family in the 1950s. It's beautiful fruit, all harvested by hand by the family and sent to Jo with love. It was destemmed into open fermenters–with some bunches at the bottom–to do its thing on skins for 10 days with daily plunging. The wine was then gently basket-pressed straight to tank. It was racked off heavy lees to bottle with just a dash of sulphur.
